Ranges reflect what rejuvenation aims for on a sound, aging asphalt roof. Every roof is different, and results depend on the roof’s condition at the time of treatment.
Three things happen to the shingle.
Flexibility comes back
A dried out shingle is brittle. The oil restores flexibility to the asphalt so the shingle can expand and contract with the weather again instead of cracking.
Granules hold on longer
Granules are the shingle’s sunscreen. When the asphalt underneath is supple again, it grips them better, which slows the granule loss that ages a roof.
The clock slows down
None of this is visible as a coating, because there is no coating. The roof looks like your roof. What changes is the rate it ages, which is the whole point.
A good result is boring on purpose.
Rejuvenation is not a coating, a paint, or a pressure wash, so a proper before and after does not look dramatic. The roof should look like the same roof, because the change is in the shingle, not on top of it. Be skeptical of photos that show a roof suddenly looking brand new. That is usually cleaning or coating, not rejuvenation.
The honest proof is measured over time, not in a single glamour shot. That is why we track each treatment on a timeline rather than posting one photo and calling it done.

- 02Day 0 plus 2 hours: post-spray surface with full saturation
- 03Day 7: settled appearance, no visible coating
- 04Month 6: granule retention check, color reading
